Get Unjunked With Unreal Candy Review

I cannot count how many times an argument has ensued in our house over the kids eating way too much junk food.  Candy has always been an issue.  But to be honest the kids are not the only ones who indulge, especially in candy bars.  I know I need to cut back due to my high cholesterol and Triglycerides.  Have you looked on the back of a candy bar wrapper to read what ingredients are actually in them?  Amazing!  I can hardly pronounce half of what is used.

I was recently selected by Resourceful Mommy Media and #GetUnreal in-home parties to host a party for the Get Unjunked Unreal Candy.  When the candy arrived, I practically had to beat away the hands grabbing for it.  You would have thought that no one had seen chocolate in this house.  I had to hide it until it was time for everyone to be able to enjoy the unreal candy.

When the day came and I was able to share the Unreal Candy with my friends and family, everyone was surprised of the great flavors.  I think we all expected the candy to be lacking in flavor like other products that may use natural ingredients.  But this candy was absolutely delicious!  And it was great to know that we could allow our kids to have a sweet treat made with real ingredient such as real milk, cane sugar, cacao, peanuts and organic palm fruit oil.  The best part is that Unreal has 30% less sugar, 60% more fiber and 250% more protein per serving.
The consensus was that Unreal is an excellent way to allow our kids and even ourselves to enjoy what we really like on occasion without worrying about what is in it.  Guess what I am giving out for Halloween this year?

Unreal Candy comes in several different varieties to include:

Here is the story behind Unreal Candy: "It took a question from a 13 year old.  A few years ago, Michael and his 13 year old son Nicky got into an argument over Halloween candy.  Nicky came home with his bag of loot, went to bed, and woke up the next morning to find that his dad had confiscated most of it.  It played out the way these fights normally do, with the candy gone and Nicky going to his room.

Later, Nicky did some research online (to prove to his dad that candy isn’t so bad).  He discovered that his dad was right (for once).

It’s not that Nicky thought candy was healthy.  It’s that he didn’t know how bad it really was. What Nicky learned was that the worst parts of candy (like hydrogenated oils, corn syrup, artificial colors, flavors, and preservatives) aren’t there to make it taste good.  They’re there to make it cheaper to produce.

Nicky had a hunch that without the junk, candy could taste better. With the help of his older brother Kris, and his dad, they set out to prove it."
