Empire Covers Review and RV Cover Giveaway CLOSED

Our camper - our home away from home. Some of our funnest family vacations have been on camping trips.  And since gas prices began to soar, it seems it has become the way to vacation for a lot of families.  We usually do our camping in the Spring, Summer, and Fall. Winter here in Arkansas can be very hazardous with the ice storms, so we will winterize the camper and lock it up until the following Spring.

Our camper sets out in the harsh winter weather for months at a time without protection.  That  is until I found Empire Covers.  The great people at Empire Covers offered me a wonderful opportunity to review one of their RV/Camper covers for our 28' Kingsport Travel Trailer.

When the cover came in, I was surprised by the quality of the material. One of our worries about using a cover was the possibility of mildew and mold build up.  The Empire cover's material is water resistant and the waterproof which are also breathable to allow condensation and trapped moisture to evaporate through vents located at the top portion of the covers. 

The cover came without instructions so I was prepared for a long battle with my husband during installation.  That never happened. The cover was so easy to install.  After a coin toss of who would be going up on the roof (yaaay me for being lighter!)(Did I mention I am afraid of heights?), it only took us roughly 15 minutes to put it on and tie it down once we found which end to start with.

The cover is made with full elastic seams and has adjustable straps and panels in the rear and front to provide a custom fit.

Occasionally, throughout the winter, we need access to the camper to either check for leaks or other mechanical things, or to just place something needed for the following Spring. The cover comes with easy access to doors making getting in and out a breeze.
