30 Meals in One Day Reveiw and Giveaway (CLOSED)

Save Time - Save Money - Eat Better is the first line you see when you go to the 30 Meals in One Day Website. What does this mean?  It means that you can have great meals at the fraction of the cost and the time it normally takes to cook dinner on a week night, giving you more time to spend with your family.

Growing up, meal planning in my home consisted of this menu:

Monday - Spaghetti
Tuesday - Meatloaf or Chicken
Wednesday - Pizza, usually from the box
Thursday - Beans and Fried Potatoes
Friday - Hot Dogs or Hamburgers
Saturday - Clean out the Refrigerator Night (Uck!)
Sunday - Pot Roast

Repeat.......................Sooooo boring!  But it worked because my step-mother had more time then moms and dads do today to cook a hot meal every night of the week.

I like more variety and spontaneity in my menu planning.  But our work schedules really make meal planning hard to stick to. Sometimes we do not make it home until 5:30 or 6:00 in the evening and what might have been a meal planned to be cooked becomes a quick drive through at the local Fast Food Restaurant. Could we even with our long hours sit down in the evening and enjoy a hot meal with our family at the end of the day, everyday?  We can now with 30 Meals in One Day!

30 Meals in One Day provides us the opportunity to pre-cook meals, pack them and freeze them for quick homemade dinner options.  How?  By providing Cookbooks that walk you through the recipes for precise dinner planning.

One of the Cookbooks that I now keep close by is Dinner is Ready.

Dinner is Ready provides recipes with easy to read step-by-step instructions on once-a-month meal planning.  What I liked about this cookbook is you don't have to spend the whole day in the kitchen preparing 30 ready to freeze meals if you don't want to.  It offers shorter recipe options to freeze less if you wish.  Every time you pre-make a meal and freeze it, it gives you more opportunity to wind down after a long day of work, leaving you more time to spend with your family.

I know, I know, but you enjoy cooking and make it a family activity.  Go ahead!  Get everyone involved! And, there is no hard fast rule in the cookbook that says you have to freeze them.  But for those times that you know you might be rushed because of ball games, dance, cheerleading, or any other activity that requires you to grab fast food on the way home, once-a-month meal planning is the way to go!

Don't just plan your dinners!  30 Meals in One Day offers two other cookbooks on their site called On The Side and Lunch is Ready.
Recipe management is made easier with 30 Meals in One Day Software.  With the software you can manage your recipes, create shopping lists, generate labels, and create great menus.  All the recipes in the corresponding recipe book are included in the software.  No more handwriting the recipes and shopping lists!  You can also add your favorite recipes as well.
