This year has already been very busy and it is just May; which now brings a new kind of excitement to our house. Our youngest is set to graduate in two weeks. TWO WEEKS!! Where did the time go? We have been so busy making sure that our son did not slack off, we forgot how close it was actually getting.
Now that it is here, we can finally relax and enjoy the moment. What better place then at Chili's with great friends and family to celebrate such a special occasion. Chili's offers something for even the pickiest eaters. I am excited to dive in to their new Cheesesteak sliders for a great starter. These look amazingly delicious! My husband always ends up with the Fajita Trio with grilled steak, chicken and spicy garlic and lime shrimp. For the man of the hour a chocolate chip paradise pie full of chewy chocolate chips, walnuts and coconut and topped with vanilla ice cream, hot fudge and caramel. Happy Graduation son you did it!
And finally for the ones who did all the stressing in anticipation that this day would actually happen; we can sit back and enjoy a CoronaRita at Chili's. What is a CoronaRita you ask? Take my two favorite drinks ~ an ice cold Corona and Jose Cuervo Tequila and mix it together and you have a little piece of beachy paradise. Of course you don't have to be celebrating a graduation, any occassion is a good excuse to enjoy being with family, friends and good food at Chilis
What do you think about the new CoronaRita? Do you have a favorite Chilis menu item that you could pair up the Coronarita with?
