Finally! He came home! I was curious how long it would last. I'm glad you didn't give up on him. Glad you're keeping busy at work... job security is nice. lol I need to figure out what all has flooded. Dave and I are supposed to have a trip to Tennessee at some point.

Thank you for voting for us. We are finally working up a few recipes. I'm trying to set up a schedule so there isn't too much of a delay while we move. Eventually I need to figure out how people get sponsors... it would be more encouraging to remain consistent I think. Regardless we'll always cook! I hope you have a great "Rapture"

Yes he came home.  Trying to get his rear end to take care of business and get a job and straighten things out with the guard.  Tis a slow process.  Man, I wish my parents were this patient when I was younger.  Job security is great these days!!  I am not sure how much flooding Tennessee has right now.  Hopefully not much so you and Dave can have a nice trip.

You are so welcome for voting, it is the least I can do for you guys!  There are plenty of sponsor out there especially for what you are doing.  Ahhhh!  One day I will see you and Dave on the front of your own cookbook.  Or even better!  Your own cooking show on the Food Network!  Woohoo!

LOL the "rapture."  My 17 year old and his friends are having a great time with this one.  Have many plans for tomorrow.  Boy oh boy!

Hey if you ever want to email me, please feel free.  My email address is vickvern1@gmail.com
My mom wasn't the very patient type growing up. He's lucky to have a patient mother.

Dave and I really need our vacation but we have 1 million things to do before we get to that. It really is a shame all the things people have lost due to the flooding. I know when I was younger our town flooded and my mother lost one of her massage practices due to it. Now that "great vacation" spot has a whole new slew of issues :(

A cooking show would be a ton of fun but most probably out of our reach. I have to admit somedays I think it would make a pretty interesting show... Dave and his clumsiness/confusion and my completely opposite personality... it makes for an interesting balance sometimes.

I would gladly email you! I just sent you a message :)

I know it has to be so hard to start completely over. I could not imagine it. My home town used to flood quite a bit as well. I remember my grandparents basement was more like a swimming pool.

My vacation will come when I win the lottery. Yeah, yeah, I will keep dreaming. So for now a staycation at home this year is in order. We will have to come up with something relaxing and fun.

I hope the weather calms down so you and Dave can enjoy your trip.
