Super Bowl Goodies Week 1

Are you hosting a Super Bowl party this year?  Offer your football fans some great eats to snack on while enjoying the game.  We love everything pepperoni, so week 1 is a pepperoni theme.  Both recipes are great to make because you can add your extra flair to each.

Pepperoni Crescent Rolls
Makes 24
These are always a crowd pleaser.  You can change them up with ham, cooked Italian Sausage or any other type of your favorite ingredients.

Ingredients
2 -  8 oz. packages pepperoni slices
2 - 8 oz. shredded mozzarella cheese
3 - cans crescent rolls
Directions
Preheat oven to 350°.  Remove crescent rolls from package unroll and separate into triangles.  Beginning with the first crescent, place 5 to 6 slices of pepperoni moving from the wide end to close to the narrow end.  (I start with two in the first and second row and then one slice continued).  Sprinkle with cheese.  Starting with the wider side of the triangle roll to the narrower point and press slightly.  Place on cookie sheet point side down and bake for 12 minutes or until golden brown.

 Pepperoni Salad
Try adding some fresh broccoli florets, chopped green onion, or spice it up with a touch of pepper flakes.

Ingredients
7 0z. Package angel Hair Pasta (broken up)
1/3 cup mayonnaise
2 Tablespoons prepared mustard (I use spicy brown)
1 Tablespoon dried Parsley
salt to taste
pepper to taste
2 medium tomatoes (chopped)
2 - 3 oz. packages of pepperoni slices
4 oz. cubed cheddar cheese
1/2 cup green pepper (chopped)

Directions
Cook angel hair pasta according to directions on package, drain, cover with cold water to stop the cooking process (about 5 minutes).  Drain well.  Combine mayonnaise, prepared mustard, and parsley flakes.  Add cooked pasta, chopped tomatoes, pepperoni, cheese and green peppers.  Toss lightly to coat.  Chill one hour before serving.

I hope you enjoy this weeks Super Bowl recipes.  I hope to see you back for Super Bowl Goodies Week 2.
