Mommy Meanest? The Dark Side of Mom Blogs

I was shocked when I saw this video.  Maybe I am just naive to being a new blogger. Does this really take place?  My thoughts even before I started blogging was that it is a tight knit community of people who share not only things they have in common, but things they are passionate about.  I have come across blogs on occasion where the blogger has voiced their opinion.  I don't have to agree with their opinion, but I do think that I and everyone else should follow etiquette rules. We should be mature enough to debate without purposely offending.  I agree with this video that sometimes it just gets too "high schoolish".  I now understand when I run across a blogger who has decided to give up.  But unfortunately we will all run across negativity either through our sites or through some other blog.  How we handle it is what will define us as individuals.
